Dewey Conway
When Dewey isn’t heads down into drawing or writing, he works as an instructional designer for a major learning management systems company developing online courses.
Way back in the before times, aka the 80’s, he fell in love with the idea of the fantastical hero. Unabashedly inspired by The Hobbit and other Middle Grade fantasy tales, he strove to write and illustrate his own book set in a world safe enough for kids but still fun enough for adults. Enter the story of Tanna, Galdifort, Peggs, and that tenacious tale.
Along with his creative endeavors, Dewey loves tinkering with old computers and building with LEGO. He enjoys relaxing in his big, comfy chair, reading old history books about the medieval world and imagining life as it was in the deep past. He’s not adverse to a ‘so bad it’s good’ movie night with his family, just as long as the riffing is on fire.
Dewey lives north of Houston, TX with his wife and two dogs while his adult children are off on their own.
